Recycling Facility Tours
One of only a handful of nonprofit recyclers in the country, the Eureka Recycling facility offers an insider’s look at the the buzzing world of recycling. As a zero waste demonstration and lab, touring Eureka’s MRF (pronounced “merf”) shows you how recyclable materials are collected, separated, and then sold in the Twin Cities.
Eureka offers weekly public tours of our recycling facility, every Wednesday at 9am. Tour reservations are required. Public tours are booked on a first come, first served basis and limited to 10 attendees.
Please fill out the form below to request a spot on an upcoming Wednesday tour. A Eureka engagement staff member will respond within 1-2 business days with your tour confirmation details OR other available dates if the date you have chosen has already been filled.

- Walk up and down multiple sets of stairs and catwalks, no less than 1 mile or 30-45 minutes
- Be 12 years of age or older at time of tour
*Private tours are available for a small fee per attendee and dependent on staff availability.
